Distorted Glimpses
”Memory itself is an internal rumor” George Santayana.
The recollection of a memory can be distorted over time through manipulation of the mind. It's rarely an intended change to the substance of memory but the nature of human creativity and fantasy, containing these glimpses, has the natural habit to either glorify or attenuate them. This manipulation can enlarge in one's mind in such a way that it seems more true than the original experience.
